Our take on VOID/BREAKER
Combat destruction is more than visual damage: breaking walls and collapsing structures can stagger enemies, making the environment part of the fight.
What is VOID/BREAKER?
VOID/BREAKER is a first-person roguelite about fighting machines controlled by a hostile AI in a repeating sequence.
Runs combine fast gunfights and movement with choices about which battles and routes to take, including riskier paths with greater rewards. Weapon mods can be combined to create different loadouts and synergies. The environment is part of combat: gunfire can break walls and bring down structures, while destruction can stagger enemies. Each run offers new decisions and paths as the player attempts to escape the AI’s cycle. The game is a solo project by Daniel Stubbington of Stubby Games.
