Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking constant action may find the deliberately slow pace too restrained
- Those wanting a large campaign may find two missions too limited in scope
- Players who dislike repeated route learning may not enjoy mastering the orbital ruins
- Players seeking broad exploration may find resource depletion restricts how much can be visited
Our take on Void
Rather than offering open-ended space exploration, the game turns movement into a controlled survival puzzle. Limited air and fuel replace conventional traversal freedom, while two missions frame the experience around the protagonist’s life instead of a larger campaign structure.
What is Void?
Void is a slow-paced space game focused on survival, movement, and personal loss.
The player travels between pieces of orbital wreckage while air and fuel steadily run out. Fuel applies force to movement, creating a physics-based navigation puzzle: spending more can increase speed, while conserving it allows more changes in direction. Routes can include floating air and fuel supplies, so path selection affects survival. The game contains two missions, each presenting an important moment in the protagonist’s life. Progress depends on learning the ruins and choosing how to spend limited resources. A quick completion may take only a few minutes, while understanding and mastering the environments can take many hours.
How Void plays
- 01Resource-limited movement
- Air decreases over time, while fuel is spent to alter movement through the orbital debris.
- 02Physics-based navigation
- Movement choices involve balancing speed against the ability to redirect across the space-junk field.
- 03Two story missions
- The game presents two missions built around significant moments in the protagonist’s life.
- 04Resource-filled routes
- Different paths contain floating air and fuel supplies that can affect how long a run lasts.
