Our take on Virtual Families
The household continues across generations: the home passes from one family generation to the next.
What is Virtual Families?
Virtual Families is a family simulation that runs in real time.
Adopt a character, care for them, help them find a partner, and start a family. The house passes to later generations. Praise and scolding can shape characters’ personalities, and a changing illness system lets players care for sick family members. The game also has trophies and puzzles hidden around the house. Its day and night cycle follows the computer’s system clock, so the in-game time matches the time of day on the computer. Adoptees come in many different combinations.
