We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Strategy RPG players who want to organize armies and customize individual units
- Players who enjoy branching routes involving lawful, chaotic, and relationship-based decisions
- Players seeking a long story campaign with a separate battle-focused mode
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players who want a linear campaign without route changes, relationship decisions, or multiple endings
- Players who prefer short, story-light sessions rather than territory management, army preparation, and extended strategy play
- Players looking for a conventional adventure RPG rather than an SRPG centered on divisions, resources, and conquest
Our take on VenusBlood FRONTIER International
Players may hit the main wall when army preparation becomes a constant requirement: division composition, territory facilities, resources, equipment, titles, and medallions all feed into later battles. The branching Law and Chaos choices create another pressure point for anyone wanting one clearly defined route.
What is VenusBlood FRONTIER International?
Play as Loki, an exiled demon heir competing with four other invaders for the throne of the Dark Lord.
Conquer territories on the Floating Continent of Yggdrasil, manage food and resources, and construct facilities suited to an army's needs. Divisions can contain up to 6 units, with equipment, titles, skills, and forged medallions supporting unit customization. Battles progress from enemy territory to capital assaults. Choices affect Law and Chaos ratings, relationships with captured goddesses, story routes, and endings. The game includes over 50 hours of story content, voiced heroines and side characters, several difficulty settings, and a battle royale mode that becomes available after clearing the game.
