Our take on Vacant
The game places a point-and-click investigation in an alien setting, using an asymmetrical camera view and a government-agency case instead of a conventional earthly detective backdrop. Its central structure follows a search for three presumed-dead people and the person responsible.
What is Vacant?
Vacant follows Jade Bridgett, a new intern at the mysterious government agency The Eye.
On her first day, she receives a case involving three missing people presumed dead. The investigation involves finding them and identifying the culprit. This point-and-click science-fiction adventure takes place on an alien world with explorable environments and characters to meet. The game uses colorful graphics and an asymmetrical camera view. It is based on the VACANT graphic novel by H L Nunnelly. H L Nunnelly created the game, Elena Íviel Williams composed the music, and Holly Standbrook provided voice acting for the trailer.
