Saves you a refund- Players who want room to recover after several missed defenses may hit the four-arrival loss condition quickly.

- Players looking for a story-led underwater adventure will not find that focus here.
Our take on Underwater battles
The pressure point is the starfish counter: once fish have reached it four times, the run is lost. Players who need more than three attempts to clear the screen may also find that the limited shots leave little room to recover.
What is Underwater battles?
Underwater battles is a 2D puzzle game about shooting fish that move toward a starfish.
Players have three attempts to eliminate all the fish. Their movement may follow a curved path or a fast route across the screen. If fish reach the starfish four times, the game ends in a loss. Fish come in different colors and shapes; hitting a group of at least three matching fish with a fish of the same color and type clears the group. Players can change which fish they throw.
How Underwater battles plays
- 01Matching fish chains
- A shot clears a group of at least three fish when its color and type match.
- 02Changeable shots
- Players can switch the type of fish they throw.
- 03Starfish loss condition
- The game is lost if fish reach the starfish four times.
