StrategyIs GO worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Casual players who want short sessions centered on aiming shots.
- Players who enjoy timing and angle-based challenges without a larger game world.
- People looking for a 100-stage ball-launching game rather than a story-driven adventure.
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking deep progression systems or a broad range of gameplay mechanics may find the focused launch-and-clear loop limited.
- Those wanting varied activities across repeated sessions may find the stage structure repetitive.
- Players looking for multiplayer play may prefer a game built around group sessions.
Our take on GO
The focus on aiming and launching keeps the play centered on a single action, but leaves little room for varied mechanics or a broader progression structure.
What is GO?
GO is a minimalist game about launching a ball to remove obstacles.
It has 100 stages. Players click and drag to set the shooting direction, choosing an angle and timing for each release. Small differences in aim can cause a shot to miss its next target. Some blocks are outside the ball’s direct shooting range, so players can try to send it to the other side to reach them. The gameplay centers on judging when and where to launch rather than moving through a larger game world or managing a set of systems.
How GO plays

- 02Click-and-drag aiming
