What is UnderDread?
UnderDread is a first-person horror adventure set in the early 18th century.
After the protagonist’s daughter disappears during an overnight stop at an inn, clues from local residents point toward a former landlord’s castle connected to missing children. The investigation follows a detective who searched for earlier victims, using his notes and records from a researcher who once lived there to reveal the story gradually. Exploration covers the castle and the areas beneath it, where danger may appear without warning. Progress combines puzzle solving with hiding from threats. A journal receives new entries that offer puzzle assistance and story details, while different locations have their own musical atmosphere.
