Our take on Out of Sight
The split perspective gives the game its central identity, but it also makes navigation less conventional than a standard character viewpoint. Attention is divided between Sophie’s position and Teddy’s vision, making the unusual presentation part of the challenge as well as the premise.
What is Out of Sight?
Play as Sophie, a blind girl who views the mansion through her teddy bear, Teddy.
Move through a dangerous house, avoid captors, and investigate the events behind its disturbing past. The game combines horror, puzzle solving, exploration, and stealth, with a second-person viewpoint built around Sophie and Teddy’s separate perspectives. Progress involves sneaking, hiding, interpreting sensory clues, and navigating hazards such as creaking floorboards and unexpected obstacles. The mansion’s history is revealed as Sophie advances, while the game presents danger as a threat of capture. Its structure centers on escaping the house and piecing together the story concealed within it.
