Is Ultimate Hero worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Deckbuilder players who want dice-based decisions alongside card choices
- Strategy players who prefer one-on-one martial-arts battles over large-scale conflicts
- Rogue-lite fans who enjoy changing builds through relics, skills, and random events
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking large battles with many units may find the one-on-one duel structure narrow
- Players who prefer fixed campaigns may not enjoy runs shaped by random events, dice, and changing skill combinations
- Players looking for a non-strategy game may not fit the deckbuilding and counter-based combat focus
Our take on Ultimate Hero
The dice system changes the usual deckbuilder rhythm by making random results part of the tactical plan. Its martial-arts framing also replaces a standard fantasy combat structure with duels between changing character identities, while relic combinations and events shape each run.
What is Ultimate Hero?
Ultimate Hero combines rogue-lite deckbuilding with dice manipulation and one-on-one martial-arts duels.
Players assume the identities of nearly 30 martial artists and use their abilities against opponents with exploitable weaknesses. More than 100 skills can be upgraded, including passive effects and attacks prepared by filling a row of skills. Dice can be changed through skills, while discarded cards support tactical decisions. More than 200 relics offer combinations for each run. Travel includes over 30 random events, with opportunities to gather wealth, trade for resources, find treasures, and recruit minions for attacks. The objective is to defeat martial artists from across the realm and claim the title of Ultimate Hero.
