Our take on Insider Trading
The defining mechanic is a self-created market: every run's deck controls price movement, while greed accelerates both gains and exposure to risk.
What is Insider Trading?
Insider Trading is a stock-market roguelike deckbuilder where each run puts a trader with a distinct strategy and starting deck in control of market movement.
Cards can raise or lower prices, while greed increases both potential gains and risk. Between market days, the Aftermarket lets players draft cards from different pools, including options that improve or weaken the deck. Characters add special mechanics and alternate approaches. Runs build toward a weekly financial target, with recessions and other disruptive events capable of changing the situation. A combo system rewards card positioning, while 120+ cards, 60+ stackable pills and perks, unlockable characters, and multiple difficulty levels support varied strategies.
