Our take on The Diary
Several diaries form the investigation itself: solving each page changes the reader’s perspective and gradually reveals the missing case through six possible characters.
What is The Diary?
The Diary is a 2D story-driven puzzle game built around several kinds of journals: a personal record, investigative notes from two separate writers, and a planner’s log.
Solving the puzzle on every page allows the story to advance and gradually exposes the circumstances of a disappearance. It starts with an unidentified diary, leaving players to determine which of six characters is speaking through it. Shifting viewpoints uncover details from the case’s obscured history, while repeated twists cast doubt on apparent solutions and introduce unexpected possibilities. Events from earlier and current periods are linked as the investigation unfolds.
