Play it if you…

Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking combat-focused gameplay may find the riddle-and-task structure narrow in scope.
- Those wanting the reason behind the protagonist's capture fully explained may find the central mystery unresolved.
- Players who prefer richly colored visuals may not want a black-and-white pixel-art presentation with selective color highlights.
Our take on SINNERS
The setup emphasizes captivity, surveillance, and unanswered questions, while the described play consists mainly of room-based tasks and riddles. The diaries add context about former captives, but their role in explaining the central mystery is not detailed.
What is SINNERS?
After waking in a cell, the captured character is ordered through a wall speaker to leave.
Progress requires solving riddles and completing tasks in several rooms while the speaker voice directs the game. Diaries left by former captives can be found and read, offering accounts of what they experienced. The reason for the capture remains unknown. The visual style uses pixel graphics inspired by old Game Boy games, a black-and-white screentone, and colored highlights for selected objects. Speaker dialogue is dubbed in English and German. The game includes two endings determined by the player and a separate secret ending to unlock.
