Our take on TUZAQ
The store copy gives substantial space to the full version's four arcs and 300,000 words, while the early-access edition contains 30,000 words. The difference matters when assessing the narrative available now; the larger word count and scope refer to the full version.
What is TUZAQ?
TUZAQ is a non-linear visual novel set in Central Asia between 1715 and 1800.
It follows Aisara after Dzungar forces destroy her village, with choices shaping her life from adolescence through old age. Four branches cover espionage or rebellion during war, political struggles around the Kazakh Khanate, and shamanic exploration of a demon-filled world. A spirit system lets players appease animal spirits and decide whether to gather them or rely on their protection.
The full version is described as having over 50 characters, Kazakh cultural elements, and folk melodies. The early-access version contains 30,000 words; the vendor gives 300,000 words for the full version. Historical events and figures provide a basis, alongside fictionalized material and AI-generated backgrounds refined by the creators.
