Our take on TransOcean 2: Rivals
The store gives substantial space to the global shipping empire premise, but the campaign also begins after that empire has collapsed. The experience therefore combines expansion management with a narrative about rebuilding, while multiplayer centers on Victory Points, sabotage, and timed competition.
What is TransOcean 2: Rivals?
Run a shipping company from a starting port among more than 60 locations, using contracts and voyage planning to build funds and expand a fleet.
The game includes Campaign, Endless Game, and Competition modes, plus multiplayer for matches with up to 7 opponents. Ships include Tankers, Container Ships, and Bulk Carriers, each with different strengths and weaknesses, while oil prices, goods, rival companies, and wider economic changes affect decisions. Single-player modes include a 3D ship-handling activity in which vessels must be guided through harbors. Campaign play has 6 chapters, with medals and recurring rivals. Multiplayer matches use randomly selected Victory Point conditions, sabotage, regional competition, and player-defined durations of up to 2 hours.
