Rather than centering only on direct racing, the game places team composition and rider selection alongside stage tactics. Its multiplayer races also randomize rider characteristics at the start, making the chosen approach part of the competition instead of relying on fixed rider attributes.
What is Tour de France 2024?
Tour de France 2024 features the 2024 route and My Tour, Pro Team and Pro Leader modes.
Choose World Tour teams or one of 15 playable Pro Tour teams, or assemble a squad from a pool of more than 900 professional cyclists. In My Tour, combine available stages into a custom race and select rules based on the Tour de France, Paris-Nice or Critérium du Dauphiné. Criterium offers online races for up to 6 players, each fielding 2 riders.
Weekly sessions award points according to finishing position and let players unlock additional riders and team jerseys. In multiplayer, rider attributes are assigned anew for each race, giving participants the same starting conditions. Other changes include updated AI on mountain and intermediate sprint stages, accessibility improvements, and fall recovery times that vary with the severity of a crash.
