Our take on TOBOR
The store presentation stresses exploration, puzzles, and atmospheric storytelling, while the central activity is observing surveillance feeds, recording events, and reading clues. The experience is therefore more focused on text-driven monitoring and narrative decisions than on conventional exploration.
What is TOBOR?
TOBOR is a text-driven interactive fiction game set within a dystopian bunker called Undercroft.
As a spy robot, players observe 16 live surveillance feeds, monitor suspects, record events, and gather evidence. Text dialogue scattered through the game reveals information about the bunker, its inhabitants, and their hidden motives. Choices affect who survives and lead to multiple possible endings. The game combines surveillance, exploration, puzzle-solving, and narrative investigation, with characters whose motivations and secrets unfold through observation and collected clues. Its presentation uses atmospheric visuals and sound to frame the story of paranoia, hidden agendas, and the search for truth inside Undercroft.
