Our take on Time Warpers
The game trades a compact, fixed progression path for ongoing numerical growth across repeated runs. Automation supports progress away from the computer, but that design places less emphasis on constant direct control than a conventional first-person shooter.
What is Time Warpers?
Time Warpers combines first-person shooting with incremental progression.
Players collect gold, improve weapons and teammates, defeat enemies, and advance through thousands of zones across multiple planets. Runs include research investments, perks, active abilities, weapon cubes, and timeline cards with selectable bonuses. Gun customization applies to click weapons, drones, and turrets, with perk combinations supporting different attack builds. The game supports private single-player sessions and co-op, where players can travel together in merged hoverbike convoys. Automatic fire and hoverbike driving allow progress while away from the computer, while movement abilities support more active play. Optional permadeath lets players choose higher difficulty for greater rewards. Air Strikes deal 25%-100% damage to a wave depending on Weapon Cube investment.
