Our take on Time Machine VR
Its defining structure is a VR research mission: prehistoric creatures are examined with specialized tools, then the collected findings are returned to a Svalbard hub and added to the DinoDex.
What is Time Machine VR?
Explore Jurassic-era oceans as a time-travelling cadet investigating mosasaurs, livyatans, megalodons, and other ancient sea creatures.
Story Mode begins at a mission hub in Svalbard, Norway, where collected findings are uploaded to the DinoDex to reveal creature data and advance the investigation. Underwater missions use tools including a tracker, probe, scanner, bait, time control, echography, and behavior scans. The narrative connects a prehistoric virus, melting ice caps, and a present-day epidemic. After completing levels, Exploration Mode allows revisiting them and uncovering additional information about encountered species. The game includes VR motion controls, subtitles, Canadian French support, and an invert-Y control option.
