Good fit- JRPG fans who want turn-based battles and a roster of unlockable classes
- Roguelite players who prefer randomized stages and changing strategic conditions

Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking fast-paced, real-time combat may find the turn-based battles too slow.
- Players who prefer a fixed, authored route may not enjoy procedurally generated maps and changing stage conditions.
- Players looking for a purely story-focused RPG may find the emphasis on team building, customization, and repeated challenges unsuitable.
Our take on Time Break Chronicles
The game departs from a fixed JRPG campaign by combining turn-based party combat with roguelite structure. Procedural maps and changing conditions replace a fully predetermined route, while town construction adds a development layer between expeditions.
What is Time Break Chronicles?
Time Break Chronicles mixes turn-based role-playing battles with roguelite runs.
Players form squads from 100 available classes, equip heroes with relics, and travel across procedurally generated maps filled with fights, traps, obstacles, hidden areas, and other events. Relics may alter statistics or add abilities, and more can be made through crafting. In Chronicle mode, a developing settlement gains buildings and improvements over time. Singularity mode presents roguelike trials that become harder as they continue. Individual stages introduce different foes, loot, events, and recruitable heroes. Endless mode lets players revisit any stage with escalating challenge and improved rewards. Input is available through mouse, keyboard, or controller, and the game operates on Steam Deck.
