Exploration and combat use different structures: movement follows a 2D Metroidvania format, while enemy encounters shift into strategic party-based JRPG battles. The office setting, existential themes, and unusual inhabitants also depart from a conventional fantasy adventure backdrop.
What is Jeebo & Jerbo vs. Life?
An episodic adventure combining 2D Metroidvania exploration with party-based JRPG battles.
New party members bring movement abilities that open previously inaccessible areas, including wall jumping and pogo jumping. When enemies appear, the game shifts to battles where players strategize using each character’s moves. Chapter 1 includes three playable characters and takes place around CeratoCorp, The Capital, and the Bosquapital Forest.
