Our take on Thousand Floors
The defining mechanic is floor-targeted summoning: tapping a level sends new climbers there, while automatic allies and capped walkways turn tower placement into the central progression decision.
What is Thousand Floors?
Thousand Floors is an incremental idle game set in a Chinese-inspired pagoda tower.
Tap or hold a floor to summon Tower Climbers there, while unlocked allies arrive automatically on timers. Units patrol layered pavilions, collide with creatures inspired by the Classic of Mountains and Seas, and continue climbing through progressively tougher floors. Gold from battles funds stat training and mystic arts, while chests and milestone floors provide stacking relic bonuses. Floor Lockdown redirects summons away from lower levels, creating space and resource decisions around capped climbers and open ally spawns. Rebirth resets floor and arts progress but preserves relics, with the Wish-Lamp Talisman providing fresh rewards. Offline gold accumulates between sessions.
How Thousand Floors plays
- 01Floor-Based Summoning
- Tapping a selected level places new climbers there, allowing summons to be concentrated on chosen floors.
- 02Automatic Ally Roster
- A dozen ally types, including archers, shield bearers, monks and apothecaries, join on timers and can be trained.
- 03Mystic Arts Tree
- Branching upgrades affect summon capacity, lower-floor access and active abilities such as Cloud-Step and Renewal.
- 04Stacking Relic Bonuses
- Milestone floors and placement chests grant permanent global increases to attributes such as attack, health, movement speed and gold.
- 05Rebirth Progression Loop
- A rebirth starts the climb from floor one while retaining collected relics and enabling new Wish-Lamp Talisman rewards.
- 06Offline Gold
- Gold accumulates while the game is idle and is available when returning to the tower.
