Our take on Infinite Ruins
Automated golems and continuing resource production reduce the need for constant input. That also means less moment-to-moment involvement: the focus shifts toward assigning roles and choosing upgrades rather than directing every mining action.
What is Infinite Ruins?
Infinite Ruins is an incremental game about sending golems deeper into buried ruins, breaking elemental blocks and collecting materials to fund improvements.
Eight golem varieties serve distinct purposes, with units either positioned directly or assigned automatic work while production continues. Six elements can combine into reactions, including spreading frost, lightning that pierces multiple layers, and explosive effects. Almost 100 upgrades let players decide which improvements to pursue first, while Prestige introduces lasting Rune enhancements. The central narrative takes roughly 4–5 hours, and completing every objective takes about 7 hours. Afterward, Endless Mode provides continued advancement beyond the story.
