Our take on The Rebellion
Its defining structure is the ability to move between commanding the army from above and taking control of the hero in third-person combat during the same battle.
What is The Rebellion?
The Rebellion combines real-time strategy with third-person action.
Players can switch between an overhead view for building structures, managing units, and crafting equipment, or take control of the hero on the battlefield. Every unit, including the hero, can receive selected weapons and armor. Combat includes a knockdown and stagger system affected by weapon size and weight. Online multiplayer supports team-based and free-for-all battles against other players or AI. A randomized wave-defense mode offers solo play or online sessions with friends, sending increasingly difficult AI enemies against the faction. The game also includes musical contributions from Zhao Shen and Dylan Cooke.
