Our take on The Path of Ren
Its defining structure is a mostly linear precision-platforming journey built around single-use orb abilities, with optional side challenges and secret areas branching from the main path.
What is The Path of Ren?
Set in Mythoria, this game focuses on precise movement through mostly linear stages, with side challenges and hidden areas among 300+ platforming challenges.
Ren can run, jump, climb, and swing, while collected orbs provide one use of an ability: dashing, crystallizing, ghostifying, warping, or slowing time. Optional journal pages offer another view of the world. Timed Trials let players replay story sections against time and point targets, with bronze, silver, and gold medals available. The story follows a boy who wakes in an unfamiliar place remembering only that a white fox granted him a wish. RPG elements can be skipped. Players can unlock outfits, and customizable assist options reduce the difficulty.
