Checkpoint Mode returns them to an activated checkpoint after falling. Players can explore secret rooms for story details about the siblings, take their time or pursue speedrunning times. The handcrafted setting uses pixel and voxel art, with locations including a ruined castle, nightclub and fast-food diner. In-game challenges unlock free cosmetics for Dani and Vincent.
