Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a combat-only game may hit a wall in Stealth Mode, where attacks are unavailable.
- Players wanting a single consistent play style may dislike switching between fighting, disguises, wall movement, and undetected escapes.
- Players looking for a climbing-focused adventure may prefer a game centered on climbing tools and route choices.
- Players seeking multiplayer shooting or roguelite team play will not find those structures here.
Our take on The Nom
The clearest bounce point is Stealth Mode: attacking is disabled, so players who rely on the creature's throwing, exploding, or smashing attacks must instead escape without being noticed. The shift from combat to avoidance is a required change in approach rather than an optional tactic.
What is The Nom?
The Nom follows a dark creature transformed by scientists and seeking Dr.
Vial to regain its human form. Each level combines combat, stealth, exploration, and environmental movement. The creature can scale walls, absorb scientists to grow, disguise itself as objects, and hide from human observers. Attacks include throwing, exploding, and smashing enemies, while upgrades improve armor, movement speed, growth speed, and fever charge. Bonus levels focus on pushing guards across collapsing ground to set distance records. Stealth Mode levels remove attacking and require an unnoticed escape. Levels also contain keys for prize boxes, and the game includes an observation base and alternate skins.
How The Nom plays

- 05Bonus challenges

- 06Prize boxes
