Our take on Commando Collection
The collection highlights a library that will continue expanding, but the currently named core consists of three games: Commando 2, Commando X Allied Assault, and Commando 3. Future additions are presented alongside the available collection.
What is Commando Collection?
Commando Collection brings together Commando 2, Commando X Allied Assault, and Commando 3 as 2D side-scrolling shooters set across WWII battlefields.
Players fight as a WWII Allied soldier with imaginative weapons. Survival Mode adds new enemies, bosses, and challenges. Commando 2 includes expanded levels, a Workshop system, adjusted boss AI, added sound effects, and settings for enemy generation, boss troops, and blood effects. Commando X Allied Assault focuses on positional combat against enemy forces. Commando 3 adds mounts, more enemy types, and additional battle scenes with a more realistic visual style. The collection also includes a Commando 2 music video, scanned designs, and a cast animation. Further Macrojoy games are part of the stated completion project.
