Our take on Astro Miner
Players who are comfortable with early mining may bounce when later planets introduce tougher terrain and require upgraded equipment, power-ups, workers, or dynamite to maintain progress.
What is Astro Miner?
Astro Miner is a mining adventure across multiple planets with varied terrain.
Players use a vacuum gun to extract crystals, create routes through the ground, or clear areas with dynamite, then sell the minerals at their base. Earnings fund upgrades for the character, backpack, vacuum gun, workers, and automated mining machine. Power-ups include expanded carrying capacity, crystal attraction, and a jetpack that melts terrain. Gold coins found underground or earned from missions can buy skins, vacuums, and hoverboards. Fossils can be revived into follower creatures that provide bonuses. The game supports co-op for up to 2 players, with shared mining duties.
How Astro Miner plays
- 01Planetary mining
- Different terrains require players to carve corridors, use dynamite, or mine freely with a vacuum gun.
- 02Mining upgrades
- Money can improve capacity, force, speed, workers, mining speed, and auto-miner storage.
- 03Underground coins
- Portals lead to underground areas where gold coins can be found and spent on optional items.
- 04Co-op mining
- Two players can share mining responsibilities while collecting and selling minerals.
- 05Revived fossils
- Fossils found on planets can become follower creatures that grant bonuses.
