Our take on The Last Hex
The undead army expands across the map during each run, turning route selection into a choice between exploration and the advancing threat.
What is The Last Hex?
The Last Hex is an RPG deckbuilder with roguelite elements.
A character’s deck determines available combat actions, while equipment adds bonuses or strengthens abilities. Training develops the character’s stats, and cards, gear, and training allow changes to the build during a run. Each journey creates a random hex map containing enemy camps, events, cities, and shops. The undead army gradually spreads across the map, destroying cities and events as exploration continues. Monsters use individual decks and powers that can be studied before encounters. Events present choices with set outcomes. The game includes 14 classes, around 350 playable cards, around 262 pieces of equipment, 7 equipment slots, around 70 events, and 66 monsters.
