Our take on The ER: Patient Typhon
Instead of giving the protagonist conventional physical capabilities, the game makes her armless and centers survival on thought, concealment, and escape. Its hospital mystery also shifts attention from simply confronting monsters to investigating missing body parts, strange diseases, and patient deaths.
What is The ER: Patient Typhon?
In this horror title, a young woman awakens in an emergency department without her arms.
An accident has left her recollections uncertain, while a physician presents medicine that supposedly can restore her body. She searches for the reason behind patients’ deaths from unusual illnesses and investigates the loss of her limbs. Progress involves solving environmental puzzles, concealing herself, and fleeing both otherworldly and human monsters. The setting is an ER where patients regain consciousness after body parts have disappeared and are subjected to inescapable circumstances. Being a Monster is included as a free additional story, with more free narrative DLC planned by the developers.
