StrategyIs The Bridge worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Puzzle players who want gravity and perspective to form the central mechanics
- Fans of surreal architecture who prefer hand-drawn black-and-white presentation
- Logic-game players seeking 48 distinct challenges plus an alternate set after the main story
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking action or rapid input may stop at the deliberate, solution-focused puzzle structure
- Players who want familiar physical rules may hit a wall when gravity, dimensions, and perspective no longer behave conventionally
- Players looking for an open-ended world may find the experience centered on a fixed collection of 48 puzzles
Our take on The Bridge
The bounce point arrives when ordinary spatial reasoning stops applying. Players must account for reversed gravity, vortexes, parallel dimensions, and perspective shifts rather than relying on standard platforming assumptions. Those systems can make a puzzle feel opaque before its underlying route becomes clear.
What is The Bridge?
The Bridge is a logic puzzle game built around altered gravity, shifting perspectives, and impossible architecture.
Players navigate worlds where ceilings can become floors, using gravity changes, gravitational vortexes, parallel dimensions, and other unusual physics concepts to find solutions. The game contains 48 distinct puzzles, arranged across increasingly difficult worlds. Completing the main storyline unlocks an alternate version with harder variations of each of the 24 main puzzles and a different ending. A system for moving time backward allows mistakes to be reversed. The presentation uses hand-drawn black-and-white lithograph-style artwork, with environments influenced by M. C. Escher’s impossible structures.
How The Bridge plays
- 01Gravity Manipulation
- Changing gravitational direction lets characters navigate routes where walls, ceilings, and floors can exchange roles.
- 02Dimensional Puzzles
- Some challenges use gravitational vortices, parallel dimensions, and other departures from ordinary physical rules.
- 03Alternate Campaign
- Finishing the main story opens revised versions of all 24 core puzzles and an alternate conclusion.
- 04Time Reversal
- A backtracking mechanic lets players undo errors during puzzle attempts.
- 05Lithograph Artwork
- The environments use hand-drawn black-and-white imagery built around impossible architectural forms.
