Rather than keeping platforming grounded, the game makes zero gravity its central rule: movement, loose objects, puzzles, and combat all take place in a floating environment. It also replaces a typical lone hero with an otter crew and adds optional arena battles.

Space Otter Charlie is a zero-gravity puzzle platformer set after humanity’s disappearance.
Charlie and a crew of sea mammals travel through abandoned space stations while searching for a habitable planet. Levels combine jumping, floating, and rocket-assisted movement with physics-based puzzles, combat against robots, and more than a dozen stages. Objects that are not fixed in place drift through the environment, changing how puzzles work. Parts found during the journey can be used to craft gear, including jetpacks, ray guns, and missile launchers. Hidden suit plans provide alternate outfits and weapons. Multiplayer supports four-player arenas with food-focused competition and deathmatch play, while sea-otter facts are hidden throughout the game.
