Terra Firma 2 is a world-shaping simulation in which terrain changes set natural processes in motion.
Tools let players raise or lower tectonic plates, modify rainfall and temperature, and sculpt landforms. The simulation then generates rivers, mountain erosion, forests, and ecosystems according to local moisture, temperature, and elevation. Maps can cover up to 16,000 km², with centuries of change simulated in seconds while the world remains observable in real time. Created worlds can be saved, loaded, and exported as heightmaps or for use in voxel-based games. Wildlife, plants, biomes, and seasonal conditions emerge from the environmental settings applied to each world.
