Saves you a refund- Players seeking realistic tennis matches will hit a wall at the projectile-based enemy combat instead of court play.
- Players wanting deep character progression or varied combat systems may find the mouse-aim-and-serve loop limited.
- Players who dislike repeated attempts to optimize ricochets and chain reactions may tire of pursuing higher scores.
- Players looking for multiplayer or open-world gameplay will not find those structures here.
Our take on Tennis in the Face
The bounce point comes when aiming around cover stops feeling like a puzzle and starts requiring repeated shot experimentation. Players who want direct attacks or conventional tennis may also disengage when the game shifts toward chaining enemy knockouts for higher scores.
What is Tennis in the Face?
Tennis in the Face is a physics-based action game about Pete Pagassi’s attempt to stop Explodz Inc.
Players aim tennis-ball serves with a mouse, using an aiming line before each shot. Balls can rebound from walls to hit enemies hiding behind cover, while one throw may set off linked reactions that knock out several targets and increase the score. The campaign moves through districts as levels are completed, leading toward the destruction of the Explodz mega-factory. More than 100 levels include crowns to earn and achievements to unlock. Each stage ends with a slow-motion view of the final action.
