- Players looking for real-time combat may not fit a game built around turn-based battles
- Players seeking a purely authored campaign may not want the added campaign randomization and creation systems
Our take on Telepath Tactics Liberated
The bounce point arrives when battles stop being fixed tactical puzzles: walls, bridges, rivers, forests, traps, and hazards can all affect positioning, while opposing forces can use the same options. Players who want simple unit exchanges may hit that system first.
What is Telepath Tactics Liberated?
Lead a group of freedom fighters in a turn-based strategy RPG focused on tactical positioning and interactive battlefields.
Recruit allies, develop troops through more than 150 skills, and organize forces across 24 base classes and a large selection of prestige classes. Battles let armies alter terrain by destroying walls and bridges, raising or breaking crossings, freezing rivers, cutting trees, and placing traps. Units can push enemies into hazards or into one another, but opposing forces can use the same options.
Manage supplies during and between battles, choose from six difficulty settings or create custom rules, and randomize campaigns for new challenges. Steam Remote Play Together supports another player, while the standalone campaign creator allows custom characters, scenes, items, skills, and campaigns.
