Our take on Team Sonic Racing™
The defining mechanic is cooperative racing: teammates exchange boosts and items, assist one another, and build toward a shared team ultimate instead of competing only as separate drivers.
What is Team Sonic Racing™?
Team Sonic Racing is an arcade racing game built around cooperative competition.
Players race in teams, pass power-ups and boosts to teammates, assist allies with team moves, disrupt opposing racers, and activate a team-wide ultimate. Races support up to 12 players online, while local split-screen supports up to 4 players. Modes include Grand Prix, Exhibition, Time Trial, and Team Adventure, alongside an Adventure mode with a story structure. The roster contains 15 playable Sonic characters grouped into Speed, Technique, and Power types. Vehicle appearance and handling can be changed through customization options, while 14 offensive and defensive Wisps provide race items.
