Our take on Tank Battle: Pacific
Rather than centering the familiar Western Front, this strategy game turns attention to Pacific Theatre tank engagements. Its campaign structure replaces a single historical narrative with missions covering several national forces, regional battlefields and a what-if invasion scenario.
What is Tank Battle: Pacific?
Command tank forces in World War II battles across the Pacific Theatre, including Northern Manchuria, Burma, Pacific islands and a what-if scenario for Operation Olympic.
The game includes 15 missions, two large beach invasions, and campaigns involving Japan, China, France, the United States, the British Commonwealth and the Soviet Union. Battles use flank attacks, indirect fire, strategic movement, combat analysis, minesweepers and vehicle mounting or dismounting. Four troop grades range from Raw to Elite, while Japanese bunkers, infiltration units and anti-tank suicide units add faction-specific elements.
Maps include grassland and beach environments with zoom and multi-level hills. The campaigns cover battles between different national forces, from Japanese operations against China and France to engagements with American, British Commonwealth and Soviet troops.
