Taken Soul is a third-person survival horror game set in Da Lat, Vietnam, during the final years of the 20th century.
Players control Trung as he searches for his missing mother and younger sister after a family tragedy. The journey moves through abandoned haunted houses, old train stations, pine forests, and other mysterious locations. Exploration, combat, and story puzzles form the main parts of the investigation, while weapons and magic provide ways to confront the night forces. The game recreates Da Lat’s cityscape, architecture, and natural surroundings with an eerie atmosphere.
