Our take on Eternal Evil
The game departs from combat-led horror by giving environmental inspection, note reading, inventory management, and puzzles a central role alongside firearm encounters. Its first-person viewpoint and changing enemies sit within an old-school survival-horror structure rather than replacing it.
What is Eternal Evil?
Eternal Evil is a first-person survival-horror game set in a small town during an apocalyptic event.
Citizens are turning into bloodthirsty ghouls, while the remaining humans try to survive. The game follows an investigation into what caused the event and why. Progress involves exploring varied locations, inspecting objects, reading notes, solving puzzles, managing inventory, and using firearms against hostile enemies. It includes three difficulty levels, evolving enemies, physics-based damage, enemy dismemberment, blood and gore, and occasional nudity. The story also concerns distant times connected to alleged vampires. The vendor estimates that finishing the game takes approximately 15–20 hours. Its structure combines exploration, investigation, combat, and puzzle solving in an old-school survival-horror format.
