Our take on Swords and Sandals Pirates
The broad mix of exploration, shipbuilding, quests, and several combat modes gives the game a wide scope, but it also means the experience is not focused on a single battle format.
What is Swords and Sandals Pirates?
Choose one of 10 sea captains and sail across four oceans containing over 50 islands.
Explore for treasure and resources, take on more than 50 mini-quests, and manage a crew while building and upgrading a ship's sails, cannons, and armour. Combat includes turn-based ship battles, boarding actions, squad fights with up to 50 sailors, and duels on land or aboard ships. The game also features magic, giant monsters, and a survival mode where enemy factions are faced one at a time. An awards ceremony determines the winner of the war. Its mix of ocean exploration, ship management, tactical battles, and quests centers on a campaign to gain control of Tritonia.
