Our take on Sailing Era
Its defining structure is a historical ocean network where nearly 200 ports connect trading, recruitment, exploration, and naval combat into one voyage.
What is Sailing Era?
Sailing Era is a maritime adventure and RPG set during the 15th to 17th centuries.
Players command fleets across a world-scale map shaped by weather, winds, and monsoon currents. Nearly 200 ports offer resupply, trading, commissions, recruitment, investment, and local culture, while inland expeditions lead to ruins and treasure. Prices shift with port conditions, and trade or commissions can expand the goods, items, and ships available. Four captains have distinct backgrounds, with more than 30 recruitable characters who can develop traits and skills. Naval combat involves managing distance, cannon positions, wind, and sword fighting. Historical ships such as caravels and galleons can be collected or customized.

Sailing Era compared to similar games
Sailing Era centers on historical ocean travel, port commerce, fleet management, and naval combat, while SpaceBourne 2 applies trading, piracy, crafting, and exploration to a single-player space RPG with third-person shooting. Sailing Era also includes four captains, recruitable characters, and inland expeditions rather than SpaceBourne 2's open-universe space setting and empire-building focus.
