Our take on Survivor Squad: Gauntlets
Rather than treating combat as a matter of aiming at visible targets, the game makes sightlines and squad formations central to each encounter. Its editor challenges and visual scenario-building tools also extend the structure beyond a sequence of developer-authored levels.
What is Survivor Squad: Gauntlets?
Command a squad of survivors through levels filled with infected, where line of sight determines what the squad can shoot.
Move as a unit, arrange formations, and use weapons and gadgets while managing the squad’s progress. The campaign includes levels with distinct events, base building, gear crafting, squad leveling, and extraction objectives. Alongside the main levels are 20 editor challenges built around puzzles and problem solving. A visual editor provides objects, event actions, variables, and triggers for creating custom scenarios, including setups with lasers, sentry guns, buttons, and custom interfaces. Tools for sharing and playing community-made gauntlets let players create challenges and compare scores with friends.
How Survivor Squad: Gauntlets plays
