Play it if you…
Good fit- Players who want highly difficult platforming challenges rather than relaxed traversal

- Creators interested in building and sharing custom platforming levels
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a low-pressure platformer may find the stated difficulty and fast pace unsuitable
- Players looking for a single, continuous campaign may prefer a game without several separate modes and an endless mode
- Groups requiring online multiplayer are not served by its local-only multiplayer
- Players uninterested in user-created levels may not use much of the editor and Workshop features
Our take on Straima
Rather than centering on one campaign, this platformer combines a large difficult level set with competitive modes, randomly generated endless play, and player-made stages. Its local multiplayer focus also replaces the online matchmaking structure found in many multiplayer games.
What is Straima?
Straima is an arena platformer for 1–4 local players, built around difficult platforming challenges and pursuit of pink collectibles across more than 125 levels.
Worlds, selectable powers, and gameplay mutators vary the main progression. Additional modes include Deathmatch, Team Handball, Gunslingers, and Infinni Runner, an endlessly generated mode. A level editor supports creation, saving, and sharing through Steam Workshop, with more than 60 object types available for custom designs. Multiplayer modes are local rather than online, making shared play dependent on players using the same system. The game combines a structured level collection with competitive, team-based, combat-focused, and randomly generated modes.
