Our take on Trash Bandits
Its focus on movement, momentum, and level creation leaves less room for a broader adventure structure. The hotel and collection systems add side activities, but the central experience remains a sequence of platforming challenges.
What is Trash Bandits?
Trash Bandits is a fast-paced puzzle-platformer starring Ricky Stripe, a raccoon thief moving through Grove City with jumps, rolls, slides, bounces, and a grappling hook.
Levels support two approaches: cautious movement around hazards while collecting items, or high-speed runs that preserve momentum. Furniture found during stages can be placed in an animal hotel, where different objects attract different guests. A level editor allows custom stages built with platforms, enemies, traps, and treasures. Created levels can be shared, while player-made stages can be downloaded through the Steam Workshop. Additional activities include fishing and managing the animal hotel.

- 03Custom Level Editor

- 04Workshop Sharing
- Custom stages can be shared, and community-made levels can be downloaded through Steam Workshop.

Jusant also centers on action-puzzle climbing and route choice, while Trash Bandits adds grappling-platforming, item collection, an animal hotel, and user-created stages. Jusant focuses on climbing a tall tower and uncovering the history of a past civilization, rather than building and sharing custom levels.
