Our take on Storm Chasers
The focus on forecasting, interception, and photo scoring gives each session a defined objective, but leaves little room for activities outside storm chasing. Players who want a wider mix of settings or pursuits may find the repeated cycle of tracking and photographing limiting.
What is Storm Chasers?
Storm Chasers is a storm-observation game built around forecasting tornadoes, intercepting them, and taking photographs without being caught by strong winds or debris.
Players drive across a large map, use vehicle weather radars to find storm activity, and place pods that measure wind speed and direction at ground level. Photo scoring considers factors such as distance, focus, and visible debris. Single-player missions introduce the game, while online matches support 1 vs 1, 2 vs 2, and 4 vs 4 play, with mechanics including photography, outbreak, and tornado control. Weather and time of day change, and tornadoes can damage objects. Photos can be managed in a gallery and shared on Steam.
