Our take on Stay Alive: Apocalypse
Rather than keeping a fixed city map, the game reshuffles locations and world details for each new game while retaining its main storyline. That shifts the survival format toward replaying a changing environment instead of learning one static layout.
What is Stay Alive: Apocalypse?
Stay Alive: Apocalypse is a sandbox survival RPG set in an apocalyptic city filled with zombies.
Each new game generates a different world layout, changing buildings, furniture, textures, loot, NPC positions, and zombie locations while keeping the main storyline unchanged. The game includes eight generated cities across a 625 km² map, with houses that can be entered without loading screens and objects that can be moved or used. Players can create a character using eight stats, 40 traits, 12 job backgrounds, and 20 skills.
Survival activities include cooking, crafting, storing liquids, managing injuries and illnesses, and collecting rainwater. Furniture can be moved to form barricades, while doors and windows can be reinforced. NPCs can be approached and recruited, and vehicles can be driven and upgraded.
