Our take on START AGAIN: a prologue
The loop resets Siffrin to the castle entrance after death, but his allies do not remember earlier attempts.
What is START AGAIN: a prologue?
START AGAIN: a prologue is a standalone, story-driven RPG about Siffrin, who is caught in a time loop after dying while fighting the King.
Each return starts at the castle entrance, while Siffrin's allies remember nothing. Turn-based combat uses an ATB system and rock-paper-scissors-style strengths and weaknesses. Choices determine which of four versions of the final-boss battle occurs, including a True Ending. The story focuses on the effects of repeating events and keeping the loop secret from friends. The game is a side story and prototype for In Stars and Time, and is described as complete rather than a first chapter. Its stated playtime is 3–5 hours.
How START AGAIN: a prologue plays
