Our take on STAR WARS™ Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II
Instead of keeping Jedi progression purely linear, the game lets players follow light- or dark-side development. That choice changes the available Force abilities, giving a first-person action campaign a branching moral structure alongside its weapons and level-based combat.
What is STAR WARS™ Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II?
Play as Kyle Katarn in a first-person Star Wars action campaign spanning 21 3D levels.
Progress toward Jedi Knighthood by obtaining a lightsaber and learning Force abilities, while confronting stormtroopers, returning foes and seven dark Jedi with distinct powers. The game offers a 10-weapon arsenal and more than 12 Force powers. Decisions divide the story between light- and dark-side development: the light path includes healing, persuasion, blinding and absorption, while the dark path includes grip, Force throw, energy bolts and destruction. Single-player and multiplayer modes are available through modem, network or Internet connections, with 9 multiplayer levels.
