Rather than removing defeated players from the match, Splody gives them ghost bombers that can still affect the action. Its level editor also shifts some of the structure from fixed arenas to player-created layouts and power-ups.
What is Splody?
Splody is a competitive action game built around placing bombs, avoiding blasts, collecting power-ups, and eliminating opponents.
Matches support local and online multiplayer, including mixed local-and-online groups, with free-for-all and team formats. Modes include Last Man Standing, Capture the Dino, and Humans Vs Bots, where human players can face up to 64 bots. Defeated players can continue affecting matches through ghost bombers. Bots can fill open places or provide practice. Players can create and share custom levels, modify level layouts and power-ups, and compete through rankings and leaderboards.
